THE COUNTRY COMPANIES — STATE OF ORIGIN GAME 3 GIVEAWAY Terms & Conditions
1. The Promoter The promoter is The Country Companies ("CTC", "we", "us"), operating thecountrycompanies.com, trading under International Headwear, ABN 48 639 680 952, [insert business address].
2. Eligibility Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over at the time of entry. Employees of The Country Companies and International Headwear, their immediate families, agents, suppliers, and anyone professionally associated with this promotion are not eligible to enter.
3. Promotion Period The promotion opens 1 May 2026 at 00:00 AEST and closes 31 May 2026 at 23:59 AEST ("Promotion Period"). Entries received outside the Promotion Period are invalid.
4. How to Enter To enter, purchase any trucker cap from thecountrycompanies.com during the Promotion Period. Each individual cap purchased equals one (1) entry into the draw. There is no limit on the number of entries per person, however each entry must correspond to a separate, paid cap purchase. Cancelled, refunded, or chargeback orders are void and will be removed from the draw.
5. The Prize One (1) winner will receive a State of Origin Game 3 experience in Melbourne, including:
- One (1) ticket to State of Origin Game 3 at AAMI Park, Melbourne
- One (1) return economy flight to Melbourne from a capital city airport in the winner's home state
- One (1) night's accommodation at [insert hotel or "a hotel of the Promoter's choosing"] on the Wednesday of the match only
- A shared event experience with Knuckles, owner of The Country Companies
- Up to AUD $300 in consumables (food and beverage) at the venue on game night
Total prize value: approximately AUD $7,500.
6. Prize Conditions
- The prize is for the Wednesday of Game 3 only. No travel, accommodation, or expenses are covered for any other day.
- The prize is not transferable, not exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or credit.
- The winner cannot send a proxy, substitute, or replacement attendee in their place. The named winner must personally attend.
- Any costs not expressly listed in clause 5 are the responsibility of the winner, including but not limited to airport transfers, additional meals, additional alcohol beyond the $300 consumables cap, incidentals, travel insurance, and any spending money.
- The winner must hold valid government-issued photo ID and be legally able to travel domestically within Australia on the relevant date.
- The winner must comply with all venue conditions of entry, including responsible service of alcohol requirements. Intoxication, refusal of entry, or ejection from the venue is at the winner's own risk and no compensation will be provided.
7. Draw The draw will take place at [insert address] on [insert draw date] at [insert time AEST]. The winner will be drawn at random from all valid entries.
8. Notification The winner will be notified via the email address and/or phone number supplied at checkout within two (2) business days of the draw. The winner's first name and state may be announced on The Country Companies' website and social channels.
9. Unclaimed Prize If the winner cannot be contacted, does not respond, or is unable to accept the prize within seven (7) days of first notification, the prize will be forfeited and a redraw will be conducted under the same conditions.
10. Liability To the extent permitted by law, The Country Companies, International Headwear, their directors, employees, and agents are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or expense suffered in connection with this promotion or acceptance of the prize, including but not limited to event cancellation, postponement, travel disruption, or any act of a third party. Nothing in these terms limits any rights the winner has under the Australian Consumer Law.
11. Privacy Personal information collected for this promotion will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy at thecountrycompanies.com. Information may be used to administer the promotion and contact the winner.
12. General The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, breaches these terms, or engages in conduct contrary to the spirit of the promotion. The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with the NRL, ARLC, or any AAMI Park / Melbourne & Olympic Parks venue.
