Get Yourself Checked was founded in 2025 by best mates Mark Tobin, owner of Followmont Transport and Brett Hanly, known to many as “Knuckles,” founder of Country Trucker Caps. What began as a conversation between friends quickly evolved into a powerful initiative with a clear mission: To take action in the fight against prostate cancer and encourage men—especially in regional communities—to take control of their health.

Prostate cancer remains one of the most pressing men’s health issues, with 1 in 6 men diagnosed in their lifetime. Get Yourself Checked delivers a hard-hitting message to break the stigma, drive awareness and promote early detection through a simple, life-saving blood test.

Mark and Brett’s shared passion and commitment are the driving forces behind the foundation. Their goal is to create lasting impact by funding essential medical equipment, supporting vital research and leading outreach efforts in communities that often go underserved in the healthcare conversation.
